Angels On The Highway is dedicated to the virtual preservation of memorials on land and sea, creating a place where loved ones can be remembered from anywhere, at any time. We preserve memorials as they were, offering a respectful space for reflection, remembrance, and healing—without judgment or blame. We honor all lives, including the cherished pets who remain forever in our hearts.
About David Campbell (Founder, Angels on the Highway)
David Campbell was born on May 28, 1951, in Toronto, Canada, and moved to California’s San Fernando Valley in 1964. After graduating from Simi High School, he served in the U.S. Army as a Combat Medic.
Throughout his career, David worked in many different fields, from real estate and manufacturing to owning a company that built fiberglass sailboats. Eventually, he trained as a Respiratory Therapist and spent 35 years at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. During those years, he witnessed many profound moments of life, faith, and loss, including families saying goodbye to loved ones. Those experiences stayed with him long after his retirement.
After retiring, David spent another ten years driving a truck. Traveling the highways gave him a different perspective on loss. He began noticing the many roadside memorials marking lives that had been lost and often found himself wondering what happened to those memories when the flowers faded and the memorials disappeared.
That question became the beginning of Angels On The Highway.
AOTH was created as a place to remember and honor those who have been lost, giving families and friends the opportunity to create lasting memorials, upload their own photographs and memories, and visit and remember their loved ones anytime, from anywhere.
David also believes that beloved pets are an important part of the lives and families they leave behind. For that reason, AOTH includes a special section dedicated to remembering and honoring them as well.
At the heart of David’s vision is the belief that the connection between those still here and those who have passed may be greater than we understand. Through Angels On The Highway, he hopes to create a lasting place where love, memories, and stories can continue to live on.

Our Mission
At Angels On The Highway, our mission is to virtually preserve memorials wherever they may be found—on land or at sea—so that memories, stories, and places of remembrance are never lost to time.
We provide a peaceful online space where family members, friends, and visitors can connect with the memory of loved ones from anywhere in the world, at any time. Through the preservation of memorial sites “as they were” at the time of the accident or loss, we strive to create a lasting tribute that honors lives and memories with dignity and respect.
Angels On The Highway is not a place for judgment, blame, or controversy. Our purpose is simple: remembrance, reflection, and comfort. We ask all visitors to share their thoughts and comments with kindness and respect for those who are grieving.
We also recognize that pets hold a special place in our hearts and families. For this reason, we proudly include memorials dedicated to beloved animal companions whose lives touched us deeply.
